The Impacts of Trauma

In this workshop, participants develop a shared language and understanding of trauma, as well as the biopsychosocial impacts of trauma. Particular attention is paid to the neurobiology of trauma and how it changes the nervous system. Through large and small group discussions, participants walk away with a deeper understanding and empathy for clients. Finally, the critical importance of provider self-care and resiliency practices are discussed as participants develop their own self-care plans. This workshop is fully customized to your organizational needs.
